Sew Creative Lounge
Welcome to a world where creativity meets community – Sew Creative Lounge. Founded by the dynamic duo of Cecily Habimana and Tisha Thorne, it began as a shared passion discovered in the hallways of a new building in 2006. Recognizing a gap in accessible sewing classes, they launched Sip and Sew DC, a popular three-hour workshop teaching participants to create projects like clutches, pants, or skirts. The overwhelming response led them to establish Sew Creative Lounge in Mt. Rainier, MD, a haven for both budding and experienced sewists. Today, Sew Creative Lounge not only offers classes for adults and children but also runs summer camps and partners with several schools in the DC metropolitan area. Adapting innovatively during the pandemic, they expanded into an online store and began designing unique fabric collections. At the heart of Sew Creative Lounge is a commitment to nurturing creativity and community through the timeless art of sewing.

Meet Krystal Taylor, the dynamic force behind Fitness Is NOT A Game and your guide for the 4-Day Mindful Movement Challenge. As a dedicated Health and Fitness Coach, Krystal specializes in helping women embrace a healthier lifestyle without overwhelming diets or extensive workouts. Her philosophy? Making fitness fun and accessible for everyone. With a remarkable ability to connect and empathize, she's known for her straight-shooting yet caring approach to wellness. Krystal's journey in fitness has been marked by a passion for helping women, particularly those between 45-65, to find joy in movement and strength in their daily lives. Having previously enlightened audiences as a presenter at Sew Creative Lounge, she's thrilled to return, this time hosting a challenge uniquely crafted for this vibrant community. Her goal? To inspire and empower each participant to weave movement seamlessly into their daily routines, turning everyday activities into opportunities for health and vitality.
